Metering Valve

Hot rod and muscle car metering valve.  Mainly used in disc/drum applications but it's has also been  used for drum/drum applications.  The metering valve is also known as the "hold off" valve.  Metering valves are used to "hold off" the front brakes to prevent nose dive.  "Holds off" the quick to engage front disc brakes to give the slower rear drum brakes time to engage.
